Parisians have been dining here for decades and travellers come from far and wide, drawn by a thousand legends. Listed as a historic monument, the iconic Prunier restaurant on Avenue Victor Hugo is enjoying a new lease of life in autumn 2025 under the guidance of interior designer Lazaro-Violan, a lover of the ocean who fell under the spell of the venue's Art Deco style.
In the kitchen, chef Romain Fornell is calling the shots, giving pride of place to caviar, shellfish and grilled fish, offering classic dishes and a few daring creations, with seafood as the guiding principle.
A quick lunch ‘at the Bar’ - amid the hustle and bustle of the dining room and the oyster bar -, a chic cocktail in good company or a more intimate dinner in the restaurant upstairs:
the establishment is open at all hours, seven days a week from noon to two in the morning, catering to all tastes.
